Welcome to By Manna, a collection and journal of my life and thoughts. We all are somewhat different in both. Here, you’ll find mine consists of my home where I love my husband, my work I’ve done with my hands, and my musings where I’m mindful of my spirit.
I’m a follower of Jesus and a worker of the home. While the two paths may seem separate, mine overlap and often you’ll find bits of both journeys here.
In a story where slaves called to their God and asked for salvation from their captives, their God miraculously frees them and leads them away to a new land he prepared. On their journey, they find themselves without any ability to feed themselves. Their God provides what they call “manna” which literally means, “what is this?”
This substance was adequate nourishment to bring them to the land that he prepared.
This story is of the God of Abraham, one with Jesus. For his people, he provides.
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
So this is me… looking to the Creator and finding in his creation substances and sustenance enough to live an abundant life in Jesus Christ.
